History
In 1979, the Black Rock Congregational Church of Fairfield, Connecticut sponsored a Cambodian family from a refugee camp in Thailand. This act of love shown to the Cambodian people would later flourish into a progressive ministry. This ministry is known as the Cambodian fellowship of the Black Rock Congregational church.
In 1989, the Cambodian ministry has incorporated as an autonomous church, known as the "Asian Evangelical Church", and a building project has completed in 2005. Subsequently, the church has changed her name to "Center Community Church", to expand the outreach in a multi-cultural setting.
